Gorila

An underground, avant-garde film based on the dramatic artwork by René Levínský. Through his film “Gorila”, director Pavel Göbl presents an uncompromising, anti-ilusive study of the world. It is a specific film, which could be called the icebreaker of the avant-garde referring to Ejznstejn and “The Most Beautiful Teddies” (in czech Nejhodnější medvídci). The plot is linguistically lyrized by a lower sociolectic component, to an extent that overcomes all conceivable dimensions. The film is a plenary variation of the theatrical production “HARILA” or “The Most Beautiful Teddies”. The text of this theatre play has been awarded many times, receiving, for example, the Divadelní noviny Award for 2007
